Sorry I couldn't hang around all that long, good to get out in a crowd again. Have a couple of pics, will stick 'em up later.

I used this to recover one of my vids but beware, they are all called something weird, just pot luck I managed to find the vid I wanted within the first few ones that I recovered.

Nathan can be such a hooligan. I just wish we could have filmed the sleeping old couple!
Btw. I was comfy all day, but doing the return trip in one go destroyed my hamstrings. I can barely stand up!

It's rendered, it just takes about 5 hours to upload these HD vids. Bloody internet. Would be quicker to post YouTube a DVD.

Think it's time to service the bike now. It's probably overdue. I'm thinking oil change + filter, new plugs, new coolant (never changed this!) and clean/lube/adjust chain.
Anyone want to do it for me?

Just thought I have random bits from my blue curvy that I never sold, seat infill panels, rear seat fairing, spare left hand switch gear, horn and probably some other rubbish. Think I have the R6 throttle somewhere too. You can have it free of charge if you pick it up. Trying to clear stuff out.

Wayne, rather than focus on building muscles, focus on relaxing instead. You need to grip the tank if you're hanging off the bike with the pegs skimming the ground. The sort of riding we did on Sunday* should not need much tank gripping. JUST RELAX!!!
The more you relax the more you let the bike do what it needs to do. If you are hanging on like a limpet then you are fighting the bike and neither you or the bike can go with the flow.
*NOTE:- You guys at the back may well have been skimming pegs and sliding knees all day long when I was not looking; in whch case when you get off the bike your legs feel like jelly and you tend to fall in an emberassing heap like wot I did at my first track-day! But that's more in the thigh area.

Dude, that's a kind offer. I don't need any of that stuff, but I may take you up on it cos it can't do any harm to have some spares lying around.
I had a dream last night which involved me trying to take roundabouts quickly and ended up with my low-siding. Then the fuel tank disconnected itself and started ****ing out oil (yes oil). Apparently there is a screw which goes in the top to keep the oil in and we all had to run around finding it. What can I say? Dreams make no sense! Perhaps it's a premonition! :rolleyes:

I am getting better at relaxing. When I first started I got pins and needles in my hands after a while from gripping the bars so much.

Haha yep no one else has good tastes apparently! Could I have the R6 throttle tube if you don't want to keep it? Was planning on fitting one at some point :D

Nice Vid mate, loving the sound of that engine.
Try highlight hunter mate. Dead easy. Trial version has the watermark you see on my vid but rather than spending ages editing, all you've gotta do is remember when something interesting has happened in the last 2 minutes and put your hand over the lens for a second.
Obviously wont work for the indicator POV but for helmet cam its easy. When you upload to your computer it will scan footage and pick up the covering of the lens, then scan up to two minutes back for your highlight. It will then present you with a nice list of highlight clips. Voila!

Mate, I reckon one or two more videos and I'll have to do that. It's pretty painful sitting through 2-3 hours of footage taking notes on what's worth saving and what isn't. If I remember to do the hand thing on the next ride, I'll give highlight hunter a try.
Btw, I think the mic sensitivity on 2 was too high for that vid. Will try it on 1 next time and see if the sound is a little less distorted.

I got a camera today (Go Pro Hero 2) so now we have even more angles.
