@Jammy don't worry about the speed on this trip, it will be a lot more sedate than Sunday, we'll get you on some twisties and get that experience up.
By Sunday you'll be at least 500 miles more confident!
Yeh don't worry about speed, I am restricted aswell ;)
we'll all ride as a group, maybe at times stretched out on certain roads. Junctions we'll wait for people to catch up if need be. Will give you all a sheet of directions anyway so you know where to head towards.

Well I have to say Tom based on that ride to Brighton and back you rode bloody well. I didn't realise it was a restricted SV. You rode to your own pace, made good overtaking decisions and cracked on pretty well.
Much better than Spank rides ;)

I never claim to ride well, just quickly.
And I'll have you know I'm a lot better than when we went to the AR.

Don't worry you've got Jo as the sat nav, Tom as your pace marker and a horrible squaddie to keep you all safe!;)
An epic trip and adventure! You'll learn a lot in this weekend, and ride all sorts of roads. Probably covering about 600 miles over the weekend

Dj has booked 5 pitches I do believe, so you're good to go but they did say we can add on when we arrive, so if anyone else decides to come last minute.com there will be space for them!;)
correct, so if 5 of us don't turn up we may have to pay a touch more to make up for it. However prior to this, i will sweet talk them into letting us off ;)
Looking very forward to it now! really, really can't wait

+1 credit to all Bodmin trippists for good sustainable optimism.
<Not looking too bad actually (http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655273)>
+ 2 more for Grant if he makes it given recent bike drop or -2 if he doesn't for being a bit of a girl about the whole incident.
I always had optimism in the weather of the West Country! We all should get points on completion of a good weekend and more miles racked up in the South of England and new pastures. We can advocate for supporters of the new party whilst in the West country

Points will be awarded and depleted in accordance with due policy once post trip report has been circulated. Can't wait to hear about the look on their faces when they discover it's a naturists camp site :)
I will accept "private" recommendations from items that fall into the "what happens in camp stays in camp" category but these will need ratification from at least one other camp attendee.

There will be many a story for sure. That's was a secret until we got there. I did mention that many helmets would be staying and did they have a safe place for them . . . . I may sell off stories/pictures and videos from the weekend.

Flipflops? thought you were gonna shower with your shoes on?
I might (and it's a tiny might) wash the beast tomo!
nah, got flip flops instead were only £2 and are much smaller to fit in a top box than shoes!
Unless you've all got big tents with a porch can I suggest one or more tarps to keep kit dry but outside of the tent. Just to protect from the morning dew as obviously it's not going to rain. Can rig up a mini-shed if you tie it to bits of bikes.

Bah Sunday is the home leg, who cares how wet we get! Although Jo will now post "IT WONT RAIN" which we all hope is true of course!:smt040
On Sunday i have arranged a detour past a friends house. Seeing if we can potential stopping for a roast-either there or at a carvery. The trip back we can take our time of blast it, what ever you want to do.
Oh, and i will say it won't rain (it might) but i'm hoping not!
I have slightly changed the route. That way we can blast of alot of miles early and then enjoy the latter half of the journey.
Bit of parental concern here chaps. Take care out there and look out for each other but most importantly have fun and watch out for the rampant surfer chicks/dudes/cows..
Also... If you come in on the A38 rather than the A30 while heading West shortly after Liskeard/Dobwalls you'll find Trago Mills Massive discount shop. They sell nice litre bottle of motorcycle oil which has a filler spout on it that enabled drip-free top-ups. Also loads of cheap clearence stuff. Mostly crap Oxprod stuff but from time to time more interesting stuff. Also some of the best pasties in Cornwall.
It's not a bike specific store but depending on what they got on the cheap there are often bargains to be had.

After Liskeard (speed camera) Through Dobwalls (speed cemera) you come down a hill and see a brown sign for Carglaze Caverns (My Dad lives up that road). Then nice left-hander. Immediately after that is Trago Mills. Cheap cafe, great pasties in the bakers and potential bargain bike stuff.
If you want a reasonable road for a ride out while you are down there then take the left just after Trago and follow signs to Looe. Actually a few of the roads round Looe are decent. Bikes park in the carpark by the bridge over the Estuary. Also there's a chain Ferry at Mevagissy too (sort of Looeish) enabling you to get a picture of the bikes on a ferry for future Motorcycle Photo Comp entry.
You only need to worry about speed cameras if you're speeding :riding: we'll try to get a topless stranger, speed camera and cow on the ferry too. I think that would be unbeatable

Now could this be a real coincidence? I'm down in Cornwall atm, arrived a few hours ago. At about 1pm on the A35 I spotted a Blue SV, a Yellow bike(not sure if SV or not) and a Red Yam (looked like a Thunderace) all close together riding as a group heading away from Cornwall in Dorset/ Devon.
You guys?

Sounds like DaddyJob(BlueSV+ topbox), Tomor(YellowSV) and Thunderace (Red/white Yam) Should have been an Orange SV in the vacinity too if Jammy's still upright. Looking forward to match report once they manage to raise bail money.
