That's ace! I need to update the map to show it's journey as this is the biggest trip it'll take, pretty damn cool and nice idea for the picture too!

Thanks

Good to see the OTaL threads are busy again. :)

If I can get the camera within the next week & 1/2 I can take the camera with me to Madeira and take it to 5965ft on Pico do Arieiro... There wont be a bike involved mind you...

Me and Mrs Jambo had our honeymoon on Madeira and rode up the mountain on an (admittedly struggling to maintain pace) XR125. On 2nd thoughts...

So can't complain too much, just sorry it held up the camera.

There was an org camera.

I've seen a picture of the org camera, but I'm sure it's just a scene with a generic camera 'PhotoShopped' on it! Seeing is believing (as they say) ;)

So take a walk around your village (or town) and take a few pics while you're waiting.
Take it with you to work tomorrow.
Doesn't have be Buckingham Palace. Sometimes the ordinary is just as beautiful.
You only need 4 pics and one of you.

Does that mean you've eaten half the total number of Rolos in the pack, or you've half-eaten every Rolo in the pack. Knowing this will surely impact others bids.

Perhaps so, if no one wants to pick it up from James I'll gladly pay for postage back to me as I need to put the charger and batteries that garynortheast kindly contributed (didn't send it over to the US as it wouldn't fit the plug and would've doubled the postage) back with it to be passed on. If it comes back I'll offer it out again but would Likely be best to head to London over the winter weather (I'm sure there will be some along shortly and newspapers to paint the grimmest picture possible)

I'm amazed the idea was as popular as it has been already to be honest, been really interesting to have those that have contributed so far :-)

Yo yo!! I'm ALIVE!!!

Sorry folks, it's been nowt short of bl**dy chaos down here lately, and I've hardly had the spare time for a sly, recreational fart, let alone get out on the bike for a jolly.

Tam / Bibs - if you're out n about on Sunday, I'll be loitering around the Buccleuch Arms Hotel in Moffat (http://www.motogoloco.com/buccleuch-arms-hotel-ac-66-a-22) while the Breast Way Round girls descend...

I could certainly bring the camera up with me for that if either of you (or anyone else for that matter) were looking for an excuse for a run and a burger?

TamSV
26-03-14, 12:09 PM
What kind of time will you be there? I'm planning on having a fairly epic hangover on Sunday.

JamesMio
26-03-14, 12:13 PM
They're due at the Bucc from about 12:30, so I'll probably be there for an hour or so then... I could always leave the camera with one of the guys at the hotel, if that's any better?

TamSV
26-03-14, 02:08 PM
Sounds like a winner. If I behave myself on Saturday (as planned) I'll see you there. If I get totally pished (fairly likely) I'll pick it up at the hotel a bit later on.

How about I text you on Sunday morning once I've assessed my condition?

JamesMio
26-03-14, 04:07 PM
Sounds like a plan dude - have you still got my number? I'll PM you it now just in case. If I've gone by the time you're there, just ask for Clint or Polly - and I'll make sure whichever is about knows.

JamesMio
30-03-14, 06:23 PM

Plan was to take it to GM and hand over to Andy. Didn't make it this year, so its been sat in my garage for over a month waiting to be posted on. It is now sat on the kitchen table, packaged up ready for posting to the third world - or the north east as they like to call it.
