Thank fook thats over.
I have been going through a grievance / disciplinary at work because some idiot put in complaints about me (that were all lies)
Luckily the lady that chaired my disciplinary saw the truth as the complaints were unfounded and there was no action taken against me.
I have had to go through 3 weeks of hell though because of this. Luckily 99% of the people I work with are great people.
Just a shame one person has to ruin it all.
I believe it is because he wants my position and it is a jealousy issue.
I do not envy anyone going through this as it was the worst 3 weeks of my life especially as I now live 270 miles away from home.
Luckily I have a big rock to lean on in the form of Gav :)

Been there had that done to me, worst thing was it was someone I'd done my up-most to support and develop as their manager

Same here. He is always coming to me for guidance and advice.
I would like to tell him where to shove it now but I am not that type of person unfortunately

Now will that bloke be disciplined for lying? I hope it's not ignored. That'd be ridiculous.

this is my thinking there should now be an investigation into why this ***** wasted so much time and money by lying, a grievance should now be put in for bullying so its investigated more.
And he should be paying a visit to A+E with multiple fractures

Its catch 22 I can't do anything now, had it had a different outcome is a55 wouldn't touch the floor.
That's my 2p's worth, would certainly make me feel better.

Aww Helen what a horrid time for you. Thank goodness you've had your little hoglets to keep you smiling :)
Well done for coming through it, a dreadful position to be in and all the more so when your life is at the hands of some vindictive lowlife who I would hope you will no longer have to work with, he's hardly trustworthy now is he?

Unfortunately they're not, they grievance against me, was something I'd said in office banter, no swear words and nothing was said to me at the time.
In my lot there's a lot of trivial grievance action, which takes up far to much time and its also getting in the way of sorting out our lot for the better.

Sounds rough, my sisters currently filing one with her superior after he's been a horrid POS to her for quite a few months. Credit my sis she's taken the high road with doing it this way but that low road looks mighty tempting in your case.
nice one Helen. i know its easier said than done but you should not let work get you down. if someone has a grievance then tough that's their problem not yours. i always say if i have not done it then i can't lie and lier's ALWAYS get found out.
ooohhh one more thing. your not 270 miles away from home your at your new home with Gav even if he is an ugly so and so :-)
love ya really wideass :-)
That is just grrr! I hate to$$3rs who live on planet Zog and bring up cwap like this. Starting posting up Pikeys live near him, that should drive down the value of his house... Doesn't he need a delivery of manure on the end of his drive.... not that I have ever done that I hasten to add.. honest.

I know exactly how you feel Helen ........ I had somebody that was sticking the knife in with me at work . Nobody would entertain him so he wrote an anonymous letter to management . I was hauled over the coals and found to be innocent ...... I was also tipped off as to who it was . Needless to say I bided my time and when they effed up , I pounced , they are no longer with the company I work for :)

Next time come out on the ride out. 10 minutes in the company of fools is enough to forget any work troubles! :)

I was given his statement so know exactly who it is.
He doesn't realise that I know as he is still being very friendly with me and I just want to tell him to **** off.
He is trying to manipulate me into saying bad things about a co-worker so he can complain about me.
I am keeping everything recorded now and this will all come back to bite him in the ****.

Hun , look at the kak I have been through with the ex and her new boyfriend over the last two years . Give them enough time and rope and you can then pull up a chair and watch them swing

I am now looking for a new job as unfortunately I can't trust anyone there now.
I know there are a lot of decent people that work there but in that sort of job you need to be able to put your trust in everyone otherwise you are screwed.
The residents make it hard enough without having the staff being dicks too.

MM, sadly if you bugger off the said person will have won.
But with what you work as trust is the biggest thing you need

I've just been told i'm not competent to do the same job as i do now but in a different area of the company (same equipment etc.). What makes it worse is the area i applied for i was trained in as an apprentice. The union are all over it and smelt a rat. Person X (incase anyone here finds my post) has turned the screw against me coming back but it's going to the operations director tomorrow. Don't mess on the Chief Shop Stewards patch.

Really glad it worked out in the end MM. And very well done for doing it all above board.
Personally I just do not understand the mentality of people like this. Theft I can understand, but this kind of lowlife, pseudo-ambitious crap I just cannot fathom. With my previous employer one of my superiors decided that my face didn't fit, and proceeded to spend a year trying to get me out (I realised afterwards). He wasn't very open about it, just extremely unsupportive. He couldn't get me fired as I was actually pretty good at what I did. Would ask me to do one thing, then berate me for not doing a different thing, that sort of rubbish. Made me feel like absolutely cr*p. Despite having nothing more to do with him (thanks to haveing a much better job, in pay, hours and challenge) I still find myself plotting ways to bring the same misery to him that he caused me.
