Hi All,

Have a few parts that I removed from my K3 SV1000. I bought the bike as my intended winter commuter and the parts that were on it are a bit "overkill" for me. I am happy with just a standard machine so the following is all available to you good folks before I eBay the lot - the eBay prices will go up as I have to account for their ridiculous fees:

1. Ohlins Rear Shock
Great condition, recently serviced with new spring & seals (will include these as proof). Suited for a 12-13stone rider and it's fully set-up at the moment. May be interchangeable with some GSXR's, doubtful about the 650 but does warrant some investigation as it transforms the rear end of the bike (The OEM shock I just refitted is awful in comparison)

2. Ohlins Steering Damper
Great condition again, no oil leaks and only 1 slight mark on the body (I only mention this out of honesty....99% of people wouldn't as it's just aesthetic). Fully adjustable and a doddle to fit. Installs in the same location as the OEM damper.

3. Ohlins Front Springs
Only 4 months old and less than 3k miles. Set-up for 12 stone rider, the springs are OHL-08695-90 type.

4. Ventura rack & top box
In good condition, supplied with ALL parts to fit to SV1000. The rack has a top-box (unknown manufacturer) plate fitted and is supplied with a mint, approx 45L top box, finished in matching grey (to the Suzuki grey).

5. Topyokes.com CNC Top Yoke & Risers with Renthal barsh
In great condition. Supplied with Top Yoke, risers, Renthal bars & replacement, longer throttle cables. Am unsure if this set-up needs longer brake lines made up, if it does I can swap mine for yours if you have braided lines also. Will also give you step by step instructions on how to fit these - it does take some time and patience but you are rewarded with a VERY comfortable riding position that, when used with a DB Screen, arguably gives you better wind protection. Go figure!

Fitment to a 650? No idea - could be worth an email to Ventura :)

Infact, take a look at the part numbers, the part numbers for the SV1000S K3-K7 are precisely the same as the SV650S K3-L2. So on that basis, I'd say they are compatible but the responsibility isn't mine. I just know I took it off my thou' :)

I know you have already mentioned this, but was are the chances that the rear shock absorber will fit onto a sv650s k5?

Thanks

I found this:

http://www.sv-portal.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31800:

It suggests its compatible with a slight cutting of the battery box. Personally, I'd start another thread in the main section of the forum and ask - plenty folk on here will know the answer.
