Why didn't they put the blue wheels on the blue bike?

That tank looks like it belongs on a 125.

I was hoping Suzuki would bring something out to rival the MT07, but this IMO falls short.
Fingers crossed for the MT07 Tracer then.

They've got the new SV at the Scottish Motorbike show this weekend, I'll have a wee sit on it and see how it feels.

The new SV is TINY!!! I'm surprised how small was.

It's still more Gladius than curvy, didn't get a chance to sit on it as they didn't allow it :smt021.

It's pretty much an SFV with a round headlight, which improves the looks very significantly. Not sure I like the new tank shape and the colour schemes though. The exhaust is still horrible, and although not as bad as the previous model it'll still be the first thing to upgrade anyway. I hate digital clocks btw.

I test rode an MT07 before buying my SFV. I thought I'd like the Yamaha better but I didn't. It's more agile and supermotard-y in comparison, more aggressive riding position, but the vulgar looks and the feel/sound of the engine did it for me. I'm sure this SV will do well against the MT07.

Saw my first new SV today. Not so impressive in the flesh. Looks built down to a price, which was always there cars with SVs, but this has gone a bit too far. For instance the rear footpeg hangers are just bent tubes welded together rather than nice cast items previous models had. There's a mass of ugly pipes and tubes on the right of the front cylinder too.

Parked next to it was a Yamaha tracer. Now that looked much better put together.
