I was always impressed with them when I worked at Jessops. 30x zoom, viewfinder, 4k video, shots RAW, etc.....

Good price, that's about as much as I want to spend for something I'm going to stick in my pocket.
I know the 4k video is good, because a bloke I know used to film bootleg concert videos using his Lumix, which was either this model or the Tz70.
I like that it's got a viewfinder, I'm old school :-)

Nice. I bought Lady Poppy the TZ100 for Chrimbo but we've not had chance to really use it yet. Very well made and I'm really impressed with the feel of it in the hand. May well have a look at the refurb shop for something similar for myself as an upgrade to my now aging Canon compact when I don't want to lug the Sony about.
I bought a cheapy Olympus Tough to chuck in my bike jacket. Sealed camera, no lens to extend and 14mp.

I bought the tz to replace my canon s95, which takes great photos but lacks a viewfinder and only has a small zoom. Likewise these cameras are for when I don't want to lug the DSLR about.

There was something similar on the cliff top in Felixstowe, but in a concrete grey. Was quite a distinctive house, and in a great location.
I can't remember if it was demolished and something nicer was built, or if it was modernised. I'll have a look later.

'It's beautiful but I am not a fan of the design.' ! Seems a bit of a contradiction. How can somebody find a building beautiful if they don't like the design ?! Hasn't a building ( or a motorcycle for that matter ) that is considered beautiful been made that way because of the design ?

Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
It was partly fuel in the oil, leaking past a dodgy float needle / seal, already in there from the previous owner. That wasn't the main issue as it confused diagnosis as it has similar symptoms to the main problem... the stator going.
Fuel in the oil makes the bike become increasingly erratic and then stall after about half an hour of warming up. The oil gets hot and turns the fuel to vapour. All goes back to normal once cooled down.
Similar symptoms for the stator. Once the oil is hot all the coils get hot and the resistance goes up. Couple that with a stator that is already just above the recommended tolerance and once hot the charging system fails, spark becomes erratic and it stalls and won't start. All goes back to normal once cold. Couple that with a charging system that already struggles to put enough power back to the battery and you have a bike that can handle half hour of riding at a time and then trys to play buckaroo on corners etc before giving up totally.
Reg/rec is now wired straight to the battery bypassing all the high resistance wiring and plugs that Suzuki sends it through and the battery is now receiving a healthy 14.5v when idling.
i had totally forgot about this till i was down the bevvy park for a little stroll. took these pics as i thought members would like to see how much people in Kirkcaldy love motorcycling. the beveridge park (https://www.google.com/search?sa=X&source=univ&tbm=isch&q=beveridge+park&client=firefox-b-d&ved=2ahUKEwiBj8He7KXvAhUnQxUIHWCwDy0QjJkEegQIAhAB&biw=1920&bih=910) used to be a race track. the images are of the memorial to those that lost their lives. as far as i know Knockhill was built to replace the Beveridge track and make racing safer.

The view looks amazing! I have always been a fan of sunrise and sunset photography.
I managed to get out for a couple of hours after work last night. The roads were nice and quiet and it felt good to be out on the bike for enjoyment.

Got a nice little ride in over towards Cheddar Gorge today. I was out early so the roads were nice and quiet. Managed a good 250 miles or so, and a good day out.

I've not posted a photo for a while. I had a trip out to a village called Badger in Shropshire. Seriously pretty.

Decided to get the Street Triple out a bit earlier than planned and had a good few hours out on it today. It needed a new battery (alarm had drained the old one and killed it, despite putting it on a charger once a month). Also ran all old fuel out and topped it up with fresh. A cold day to ride, but felt good to be out on the Striple. I've had a rare few days off so wanted to make the most of the last day before being back to the chaos of work again tomorrow.

It's in Calne. I'm guessing where they have Calne bike meet (when it's allowed).
Not heard of that one.

Mad knitting lady doing loads of postboxes in town, that one, is one of many.
I passed another one on my bicycle ride this morning
I didn't notice any others, having said that I wasn't really looking.

The weather was good all weekend long - got sunburnt Monday afternoon sitting in the sun for a few hours!
Playing around with the "Little Planet" setting on my 360 camera.

Nice!
Short trip out on the bike today, only 60 miles. Stopped off at Highley station which is on the Severn valley railway. Can't say I enjoyed the ride that much as it was far too cold with intermittent showers and hail at one point. My planned route wasn't that interesting either.

Playing around with the 360 camera again. I was under a shelter and set it to look up and it bent the scenery around the image.
