Patch,

Plan is for me and Carsick to rendezvous at Rownhams and then whizz up the M3. Apparently there is a Tesco at the top of the M3 (M25 end) where we will be meeting Grinch and anyone else who wants to meet there. We will be setting off at about 6:15 from Rownhams.

Grinch,

You're not far from me (West Drayton). I'm working in Slough today, but will be leaving the office at about 16:30. Do you want to meet at Junc 3 of the M4 ?? On the Hounslow side there is a layby just before the junction (by the speed camera). I can meet you there at 7:15-7:30 and I'll lead you in.

Fender extender, schmender extender. I thought the bike was going to be a nightmare in the crabby weather, but she ran purrrrrrfectly. Good girl.

Patch, thanks for guiding us in, although I don't reckon I would ever find Frith St. again on my own  Talk about the scenic route:lol: Shame you couldn't stay longer. Nice to meet you.

Lyn! What can I say. You're a nutter, but I like you  I will bring some chocolate next time I'm in your neck of the woods, although I am sure there will be plenty of stock from the others if I forget.

Mr. Squid. Good to see you again fella. 4 miles from your house to Frith St. you say. You know my response to that. Don't make me say it again.

You too Viney. Your face was classic when I pulled up. Just popped out for a coffee. Yeah 117 miles popped out!

DeeJay! As you can see the dub bub is looking guuuud on the old SV. No you can't have it back.

Spiderman. Good talking to you last night.

Baldyman. We meet again! I seem to meet you at everything I go to. Are you stalking me?

Jelster / Nick. Much as it pains me to say this, the inline 4 crew had a good showing on the noisy exhaust front. V.Impressive

Greg, good to finally meet up with you guy. Cheers for the hot chocolate. Just what was needed before the wet ride home to warm me old cockles mate.

Big Ape. Bucket wasn't looking too bad. The saddle shutters on the seat cowl looked mint!!!

Who else did I meet last night? Raf, Sarj (very brief hello/goodbye), SkateyKitten???, TinCan, TwoTime.......if I have forgotten anyone I do apologise. Too many names to remember.

Final shout out to Mr Toad. Thanks for guiding us out mate. Made things a lot easier. If you were wondering where we got to, I had to pull over for some petrol. Oh and you exhaust sounds the mutts!

The wind and rain made the trip home interesting, I lost count of the number of "duelling" trucks who left what seemed like a VERY small third lane to run through

Scoobs, if I tried stalking you last night I reckon I would have been pretty dizzy around Soho  Good effort from you and Carsick though, yet another marathon, but the "Hey Dan, I know you, you're from Big Brother" shouting was so uncool for you

thats given me something to think about, i was going to get a 3G phone soon, maybe ill get the new motorola instead

I think Viney said the same thing about it too.... so it could be the curse of viney as equally as the curse of Mr Toad...

but if you get a 3g wouldnt recommend the LG one... seems like they go wrong regularly by all accounts...

I got out of work and the weather was terrible so I went straight home. I can't believe I missed all the fun, I'll definitely be there next week, even if it's snowing.

 thanks for giving me so much detail last night about how crap the lg 3 network phones were.... mines gone kaput today...

did your daughter do a lot of texting by any chance?

think the continual use all after noon and sending/receiving of about 100 messages might be the reason mines died.......
all the keys are the wrong menus.... pain in the butt... lost some numbers...

Yes - sends txts all the time. First the menus went wrong, next day the clock on the front died, and then after that it just couldn't be turned on. Took it back to Carphone Warehouse, and they said "oh yes we've seen this before, quiet common". They sent it back to 3G or whoever by courier, and we got it back next weekend. Stick to Nokia, at least they work :D

I've got some pictures of the evening , but left the card reader at work, so couldn't upload them. Now I'm at work, I've left the camera at home . . .

ah it may have been you telling me that as well.... sorry was talking to so many people and texting at the same time I lost track

see some women do have problems multitasking.... especially when theyre drunk on chocolate...

off to carphone warehouse later to get it sorted..... it sort of works at the moment, ie the buttons get me to my messages but the menu says international incoming calls...

can read them but it wont let me delete any before I take it to be fixed... damn...
