Well, I'm shattered.
I even went back to Frith for an hour after we left the bridge.

Don't know where you youngsters get the energy
By the way, who did get separated along with me on the way "to the bridge" and then had to brought in by "Toady traffic control" on the mobile?
What a laugh.....
Mr Toad ..."where are you?" .me..."Haven't got a clue, but I can see the river and three bridges"

Just read Big Ape's flamer
My ear plugs and old age meant I didn't hear a thing, were we really that loud :?:

To be honest, I didn't pay a great deal of attention. I was sitting near the end, next to Greg, and I hadn't even started my engine till people were moving.

Oh, and it wasn't me that had to be talked in.
I got separated going through Haymarket when the gap everybody else went through closed before I go there, so had to drop back.
Caught them before they left Pall Mall, though.

I was really surprised at the number of bikes at Chelsea bridge
Imagine paying all that dosh to live in those fancy apartments and then getting a free view of us as well. Good things always go to the rich
No probs finding my way out, thanks guys, mingled in with a group of GXRs (gave em a bit of class  ) at the north side of the bridge and then all the way out to Hammersmith. God, I'm even starting to know the names of places :)

You should have seen the number in Frith street when I got back.
Literally both sides of the road completely packed.
Occasionall wheelies, burnouts and stoppies down the middle of the road.
Sitting around, chatting a bit. Had a couple of people admiring the SV (in all it's dirty glory) and talked for a couple of minutes to a rather lovely redhead.
Pity I bottled it and didn't chat her up properly.

'course (puffs chest out proudly) didn't I tell everyone about the young lass who was chatting to me just before we left for "the bridge" who offered to lick my helmet  in return for a lift...........OK, OK she was absolutely blotto, but she made an old man dream  and my wife say that she really should be coming up to Soho more often :)

ah that would be one of the ones that barged drunkenly into me on the bike and nearly knocked me over... they were about to do it again but a torrent of abuse from me avoided me having to pick up the CBF...

Exactly my point. It's not us with a couple of pops from the exhaust (and I think the fact that Ricardo was directly in front of their door that made Nero's staff a little angry) it's the hooligans from the bridge later in the day. These are the people that the residents and local businesses complain about.

(I would have said this in the other thread but someone locked it.  )

with the new locals that frequent Frith Street later on at night... i don't think it will be too long before there is a huge police presence all the time on a friday... and i think that will be a bad thing for us..... given we all cover our plates and most of us have illegal zorsts and park illegally too...

Now i wasn't there on Friday, but what ever happened, i don't think that will be helping our case if it becomes a regular thing...

I guess over the next few weeks we will see what is likely to happen.....

I fully appreciate your point of view but do understand that this is nothing new, they've been there every bit as long as we have.

Sorry to change the subject...

...just wanted to say what a great bunch you are. I hadn't been down to Soho for ages and I was made to feel as welcome as ever. Nice to see so many new faces as well.

I'll be back...

Yeah, Friday was a good night - I went up to Staples after Frith and got in at 4 am - I needed that after 4 weeks out. And Carwash (!!), the redhead is single.

Deffo on for this Fri.

As someone locked the the other tread like jonboy said (comp just about up and running now  ) guess I would have to agree here instead.
Like Jonboy said some of you lot fail to get it into your head that this late night thing has been going on for years, even me steve nick etc would goto soho then the bridge and back again and stay till late and the street would be packed(summer thing only  ). Now what we need to do like said by others is clam down a little and ok lesson learned, and if you want to moan about someone I wish you lot would speak to each other first before ranting on the forum it is one sure way of making things alot worse.

NOW BRING ON FRIDAY IT'S GOING TO BE HOT AGIAN

Actually, I could do with a new t*pbox. It's been down the road both sides while on the bike and flown off at 40mph before. It's looking a bit worse for wear, that's for sure.

So far I think it's saying "don't hit cars" and "don't grab at the front brake"

Well, it could be, but the bitch is just going to have to put up with it for another few years.
When I get the sprint in 2007 then I will take the topbox off the SV.
