It'll be fine. There you go :)
Just msak off anything you're worried you might hit with packing or gaffer tape and newspaper, can't go wrong. And mark your line well with a marker as well. but most of all don't try and do it with a 10-year old rusty junior hacksaw blade, you'll want a new one. I went through about 3 blades, the double-wall of the pipe makes it easy to get hteblades stuchk so have some spares :)

We don't like to make you lot look to bad so we just act stupid.
It is by far a lot easier with an angle grinder.
Mark the line to cut with a big fat marker pen and just keep the saw on the line, that way you can check and make sure that you are cutting a straight line and not going off at an angle.
Good luck. I'm sure you will be fine with it.
now where have i seen angle grinders for a tenner recently? i'm sure it'll come to me in a minute
are there? I've remembered, its a local shop in birstall, its green and thats about all i can tell you.
paid about 6 and a half quid for mine 8) :D

I did mine with a car exhaust pipe cutter and then had to finish it off with a hacksaw..
Its easy enough, just watch you dont saw your heelplates, like I did
I think if i was going to do it again, I would get myself an angle grinder. You might want to protect your swingarm with something though
What do you guys do about MOT time where you have aftermarket cans fitted. Thats the only thing stopping me getting ine really

I worry quite a lot... Though I've modified a Beowulf Racing baffle to the point that my bike barely runs, which does quiten it down a bit :)
