I nipped there today .... cos me only 50 mins away...
and it will save me getting lost and starting the weekend with Mrs Quiff on me back..
There is a little post office/shop only 3 mins walk over the bridge that sells basics.. ..
its a great site.. and yeppo we have our own field.. told the landlady we aint dirty rude bikers.. but that we prob wont be bed til midnight friday and 2 am saturday but wud just be drinking cans and chatting... nor revving bikes and popping wheelies..
she's a biker too.. so she understands... that not all bikers are rebels.

correct that man !!!
Ive been home for a bit and managed to use microsoft autoroute to construct the AR rideout route, its pretty accurate in as much as following most of the roads and stops as mentioned. Probably not much help to anyone but its there if needed.

Following on from Falcs offer/suggestion (I hope this is OK Falc !!) I have posted the route from Microsoft Autoroute in a format that that everyone can see (whether or not you have Autoroute on your machine).
Click on the link below:-
Annual Rideout 2006 Route Map (http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/gran****son/AR06_Rideout.htm)
It is worth noting that I have started the route at the campsite so if you are not 'camping it up' then start at stop point 2.
Pay close attention to the instructions in red on the text directions.
Please Note that the above link works OK if you use Internet Explorer but not if you use some other browser like 'firefox' apparantly. See the next few threads.

The slash is correct when I check it and the link works fine on my computer :?
However hopefully most folks will be able to use either my link or the link above :)

The reason its working and not is because of browsers. IE loads up the link fine but using firefox doesnt display it properly. Thats what you get for using microsoft products I guess only work on IE :D

Thanks Blue Flame for the AR06 route map - FYI the hyperlink works on Apple's Safari :smt023
Anyone know any B&B's (near the campsite!) with room for one?
I tried a couple of days ago to find one but they were all full.
Will try again Friday morning, could also stay at a Youth Hostel 20 miles down the road, that'll take me back a bit!
Unfortunately Ed spotted that the map isn't quite right.
The section from Ludlow will use the A4117 to Bridgnorth.
Thanks for Blue Flame for doing this though. I've also created maps and they;re on the main site in the rideout 2006 section
http://www.sv650.org/sv_rideout2006/index.htm
Hope this helps.
