Due to the fact I couldn't get out of bed this morning, watched WSB all day, and washed the bikes, my one day pass has been revoked as I have to finish of painting my sons room :(

Have fun, sounds like Debs is going to keep you warm with her mobile coffe shop (that is such a civilised idea!).

I'll catch up with you on the next one.

Have a good one chaps and chapesses. It's not snowing that hard at the moment. :P

Oh, and if anyone is coming out from Croydon to Westerham via Botley Hill, there a drift of snow right across the road just before Botley Hill farm house. Or there was yesterday morning when I found it while out on a bike.

A good day, fantastic ride followed by a huge act of stupidity...

I droped the triple....

Got home, gave the bike a bit of a rinse down, decided i should check the oil. All good. Then forget which side the side stand is on and put 196kilo of triumph on top of me.

Both of us are fine, lucily no damage to either! How could i be so stupid ](*,) ](*,) I must just be tired from rideing all day.

Ah well.

Good to see you all today - would have been a great drive except for that bloody great yellow triumph in the way all morning

Made it home just before the light faded with a boot full of washing powder and a drowsy child in the passenger seat.

Thanks for having me along - an unexpected treat on a significant day.

Dan - at least you dinb't drop it anywhere public!

I would just like to say a massive Thank You to everyone for turning up and making the day what it was.
We had a huge array of bikes. Triumphs, gixxers, Kwaks, a MGF! and even a blardy Fazer of all things.

It was cold, it was snowing, but the sun came out and everyone enjoyed themselves i hope, and thats waht its all about.

I declare the 1st SELKent rideout of 2006 a success. The only way is up :D

A good day out!

I'm not sure if I managed to win anyone over to bar muffs when we met up at riverhead but I'm sure there were a few shifty glances at them b the time we got to Hastings  (or maybe that's just my imagination)

Bloomin cold, and the wind was a bit trying, but I think I'm starting to remember how you del with those corner things you find outside of the M25....

Thanks to everyone who helped organise a great day out, roll on summer

Edit: Oh and it wouldn't be an early selkent ridout without a mis-hap, so thank you to Dan for doing it in a quiet, and nondestructive kind of way 8)

I chickened out i'm afraid - just too cold for me! A shame, since my bike was washed and had its chain adjusted in preparation for sum collective fun. A ride from West Malling to Tunbridge Wells was bad enough for my fingers! Looked like a grand day from the piccies.

Definitely next time!

A top day was had. As mentioned it was a little cold and we had snow, wind and sunshine, so in all a typical Selkent Rideout.

Really good to see everyone again.

I don't think Doug had his dinner before midnight as he had to clean his bike and then pay homage to this cleaning product shrine, he was like a dog on heat at the Auto Glym product stand in Wessons!

I can't believe Debs even noticed the Yellow Triumph as she was so busy checkin out my purt a%%

Big up to the organisers, you know who your are Ayeeeeeee!

Swiss, I think Debs' point was that she couldn't see round your wide load Hi-Vis vest flagellated a*%!

But I must confess that after last night's ritual cleansing, I need to make another pilgrimage to the Wessons altar of Autoglym

Well done everyone, Haven't seen some faces in ages, so it was a nice to see everyone again.
Great rideout vin, if a little short, and way tooo warm.
I actually found the fazer good fun,
I love swisst and dougs comments on the rideout, there is si head down ar** out trying to hang onto the fazer's bars a 10000000000000mph. Bloody hard holding onto a naked's stiff bars at 70mph on the A21
I think I might actually buy a naked bike now!!!! Gives you a great upper body workout.
Role on the summer Z1000 is calling.
sexysi

By the way the bike is offical a Cat B right off, so it will never be on the road again. Offer on the insurance is £2750, if they keep the bike. But my man Manageing the claim, is going to re -negotiate as if I get over 3 grand for it I won't by the bike back and then he can nick my Ohlins.
