I may join you for this, as I'll have the SV in a couple of weeks, so it can be it's first "outing"...
.
Sounds good, I may well be interested.
But I'll need to check my diary (the wife) before definately committing.

Only 40 miles out
I may be there
I'd definitely like to come along too... seems a good time to drag my bike out of its hibernation. Will also make a concerted effort to get my ass to some Selkents - it's been too long! :D
I may be up for this as well, depending on the weather obviously.
BEst give it a clean then

It would be nice to see your ass...erm, i mean you again ;) Billys found the keys then ;)
ha ha - time to get back to my selkent routes!
My bike surprised and delighted me by starting first time after languishing in my lock up for nearly 5 months - i think it deserves a ride out!

I could be up for a little blast to the coast - if you don't mind putting up with an 'Essex Lounger' for a while !! - won't know for sure until nearer the time but 'pencil' me in Viney ?? :D
I think I may be up for this one...although if I remember last year feb 26...it was snowing    So my participation in this rideout will be very very very weather dependant
Ohhh
If it's not freezing brass monkies I may well be along for a Blat if I 'm not fixing a bike  be nice to get out of town for a bit
Course if it's snowing I may well be passing
Better get on with route i suppose...still, need to get the bike road worthy first!!

Great! ;)
I have an idea where it will be, sadly after 5 years of riding, there aren't many roads that havent bee riden down/up/along in Kent/Surrey/Sussex.
Still, its trying to link them togehter in an all new strange way that will be interesting
Id appreciate any ideas though ;D
Only problem is likely to be the weather me thinks!
Otherwise I will come, and meet at the closer point to me... rather than out miles away

Ah spoken like the voice of a true non selkenter....snow, cold, rain, hail...all part of the enjoyment. I dont a ride like this a couple of years ago, at the end of feb. We decided that it was time to go when it started snowing in Hastings!! What with that and Rictus with an SV that would only turn right, it was a fun, if not veeeeery cold day.
I can't see me coming along now :(

I'm only pulling your leg mate. We did have 15 bikes at the start, a couple of which where new riders. It just got colder as the day went on, then it snowed. I think i thawed out around about May

Then somehow off to either Haistings or Brighton.

I know that its only a short route, but it will be cold, and probably raining, so a nice taster for more warmer rides soon. We could if numbers a low, not stop at hastings and go on to rye, then back to Riverhead using the scenic route. I wont map this or route it, but make the decision on the day.
well I'm aloud to come out and play so come rain or shine I will come. if i'm still aloud that is.

By the way on the way to work a prat in a Land cruiser reversed out of her drive and in front of me, thus the bike has gone off to the repairers to be assessed. Maybe it will be written off.

Crap. Sorry to hear that. I take it if you're still riding you're in one peice though.
It's amazing how utterly stupid people can be, and reversing out of your drive without looking seems to be a special brand stupid. Saying that, a few months ago some dozy cow reversed out of her drive in front of me. This wasnt because she didnt look, but because she couldn't - as her view was blocked by vans either side. She couldnt see the road at all, but she reversed anyway

Hi guys and girls. I think I'm going to have to give this one a miss. The forecast (max of 5 degrees) is just too cold for my poor hands to be riding that distance.
Hope you have fun - make sure you post some pictures! :D

Saw her hands down at Boxhill on a cold day, not blue, more translucent, I've seen better colour on dead people
And I thought I had bad circulation :!:
