Taking the battery out

My (new) bike which passed an MOT on Tuesday needs a new battery!

I have to charge the old knackered one to make it start so I can ride to the garage, though, and I don't know how to get at it. Is this an easy thing to do?

There are four allen key bolts which need removing to take your main seat off your bike. 1 each side holds a panel onto the side of the bike which when removed expose 2 allen key bolts clearly securing the seat.

Slide the seat off and you will find the battery underneath a fusebox there.

Very easy to do mate. Take away all of the usual bits around it ie seat etc. make sure you disconnect then earth first then the positive and lift it out. Easy!
