I can only dream of 70 round the roundabout. 50 is all I've achieve so far.

Re the recent talk about the Cadnam race track, even if everything else is tickety boo re your bike and you are not speeding. i suggest a quick look at this legislation that came into force a couple of years ago. Be careful it may get your bike impounded and cost a small fortune to get it back again.

Its a good piece of legislation, i have used it on numerous occasions in Portsmouth. Once warned it applies to not only the car/bike but the driver/rider as well so if they get caught using someone elses vehicle we can seize that as well. :D

the fee in hampshire is £110 for seizure and then £10 daily charge.

I don't have any problems with the distance. I used to go from near Southampton up to Frith St some weeks.
It's just finding the time can be a pain. If I didn't have to go back into town, then I could be there somewhat earlier.

it is about 8 miles or so up the A31.

The M27 turns into the A31. Keep going for 8 miles or so and it is on the left hand side. It is signposted Burley Services.

Alternatively, blast down to Poole Quay and give me a bell when you get there. I can meet you there.

That's more or less centered on the petrol station. That's teh side of the road you want, there are petrol stations both sides.
