So what bike was it you had again ??
How come you only show your face when there is a politically orientated discussion where you think can impose YOUR views. Have you actually contributed to anything on this site which actually pertains to bikes, or indeed riding one ?
.
Who cares?
There are plenty of people here who dont own SV650s. Come on Jelster man, its not a cool club we are running here, its a forum loosely based around a Suzuki. And, idle banter is an offshoot.
If the dude wants to talk politics, maybe its because the dude is into politics. We should all be big and ugly enough to take his arguments on.
If he starts calling people names... well, I suppose he is just letting himself down, and running out of arguments maybe.

You havn't proven anything, you've just repeated yourself.
lol.
I find it amusing that the man who claims he thouroughly researches a subject before coming to an objective conclusion can claim I'm geneticaly flawed from a few paragraphs on an internet form.
I cannot help how you express yourself.
No, that's a debate.. You can have a discussion with somebody even if their views are the same as yours. You probably have very little experience of this though...
Hahahahahahaha!! Classic!
How come you only show your face when there is a politically orientated discussion where you think can impose YOUR views.
This is a public forum right? So it's none of your business where I show my face - or is it just that my face happens to be the wrong colour?
Have you actually contributed to anything on this site which actually pertains to bikes, or indeed riding one ?
Nope. Your point is?

Oh here we go.. the old "Is it cos I is black?" argument.
Well on that note mate, people dont listen to a lot of what I say - but i dont use the "Is it cos I is a batty boi?" card.
Your skin colour as sod all to do with it, where as your rather naive political beliefs do... so shut up or put up

How rude. If I didn't have such a thick dark skin, I would be quite offended.

Simple, I love you guys. :D

Jet fuel (refined kerosene) boils at temperatures above 160 degrees Celsius (350 F) and the vapor flashes into flame at 41 degrees Celsius (106 F). In an environment of 1500 degrees F, jet fuel spread thinly on walls, floor, and ceiling would boil off very quickly. If there were sufficient oxygen, it would burn; otherwise it would disperse out the open windows and flame when it met oxygen in the open air -- as was likely happening in the pictures that showed flames shooting from the windows. Some New Yorkers miles distant claimed they smelled the fuel, which would indicate fuel vapors were escaping without being burned.
Note that jet fuel burning outside the building would heat the outside columns, but would not heat the central load-bearing columns significantly. Following this reasoning, the jet fuel fire does not adequately explain the failure of the central columns.
The melting temperature of steel girders is as near as damn 1538ºc.

There are only 3 steel-core constructed buildings in history that have collapsed due to fire.

In fairness, I think this is a low argument.
He is here because he is here. I am in the US because I am in the US. If I so much as sneeze at US foreign policy I get the "well why are you here then" argument thrown at me. If what I am saying is bollix, point out how it is. Take me down.
You are inteligent guys. You should be able take his arguments down, if you think he is wrong.
Lads, he has already resorted to calling people names. You have essentially won at this point. Dont lower yourselves.

He isnt making any arguments though. He's saying we're wrong, then when we ask him to prove his point he just says 'lol'.

If you started mentioning skin colour (which is quite out of order BTW and has just marked you down a few pegs with regard to my opinion of you) then expect some flack. This forum has members from all over the world and of all races, and we don't put up with any form of racism whatsoever, please take note.
.

Not so. It's not an argument but a valid question. There has been not one single post from AH regarding the core function of this forum, thus I was interested to find out why he had decided to join this community. It's a bike forum (albeit primarily focussed on the SV) with Idle Banter as a community sub section. To join just for politically confrontational argument seems strange to say the least.

How do we know this is not an elaborate conspricy design to satisfy your own twisted disposable ball-point agenda ?

But Squirrel...I have not seen any evidence of "proof" that what you say is in fact correct either in fairness? I have seen you staunchly stand your ground, but nothing else.
You carry the torch of a certain line of thought but no more. Have you ever even considered an alternative view point?
I personally have voiced my own personal misgivings as to what we have been given to be the "truth" and furthermore how it troubles me that we may be the victims of a terrible game that in reality we can have no say in. :?
Carry on chaps........ :?

Peter, this is true. This is one case (believe it or not) where I don't stand staunchly. I agreed with jonboy as I understood his statement to be true, but I wouldnt presume to know this as a fact. Hence, I asked akbar to show us why our point of view was incorrect. I tried over several pages in fact, to get him to do this, but he doesnt seem interested.

That seems like sensible logic - so if I say (gods honest truth) edam cheese comes out of my nose when I sneeze, that is FACT unless you can disprove me?
Normally, I would have to say that the burden of proof would lie with me having made the claim. But whatever you say Mr. Logic. :)
Anyone for Edam?

Another little snippet from American Free press.net website:
One eyewitness whose office is near the World Trade Center told AFP that he was standing among a crowd of people on Church Street, about two-and-a-half blocks from the South tower, when he saw "a number of brief light sources being emitted from inside the building between floors 10 and 15." He saw about six of these brief flashes, accompanied by "a crackling sound" before the tower collapsed.
Each tower had six central support columns.

Now why on earth would you be offended? I'm afraid he's right and colour has nothing whatsoever to do with it...
... or at least it shouldn't. This is about opinion, belief, truth and lies.
The beauty, and perhaps danger, of an environment such as this forum is that you can be whatever you want and who's to know - or even care.
True, I s'pose you could point to your sign-in name and say that is where the root of a prejudice could lie, but that would be very weak.
After all, what's in a name here? Do I really think that Jonboy is some six-fingered, banjo playing redneck? Or that Mr Toad is really an amphibian.
I also seriously doubt that Flamin' Squirrel is either a vile, disease ridden rodent...
... or on fire!
But then I've never met them, I could be wrong! :?

I wonder why Tower 7 also collapsed - no plane hit that one, so it can't have been caused by burning jet fuel melting the steel beams.
And I wonder why they all collapsed straight downwards, in almost free-fall - in what many bystanders describe as almost like a controlled explosion?

Mr.Toad....if you are a believer in capital punishment....and you are sure that the evidence produced against this individual is accurate.....
But we are dealing with America seeking to appease the masses, a retaliatory action that means more as it will take place on their own soil as opposed to on the other side of the globe.
If you also believe that the charges that he has been found guilty of deserve such a punishment........
If we were to give the green light to his execution, would we be always convinced that right had been done?

Please point out where I claim this?
But that is fine - so long as we are agreed that your opinion cannot be substantiated so therefore carries very little/no weight.
There, a happy ending.

Now hold on a minute, you mean he's not? :P
We are talking of someone's life here and I think that the following might prove of interest(it is a copy and paste from another web site)
Mr. Mossaoui was turned in by his flight school in Minnesota because of suspicious behavior, but Mr. Mineta said today that it was not true that Mr. Mossaoui told his instructors, as has been widely reported, that he was only interested in learning to maneuver a Boeing 747 and not in how to land one. Mr. Mossaoui did want to learn to land the plane, Mr. Mineta said.
Although Mossaoui—under indictment for purported conspiracy in the 9-11 attacks—never made such a statement, the report that he made such a statement essentially “convicted” Mossaoui in the public eye and certainly tainted any possible jury pool, who will probably never read the paragraph buried in the Times.
Essentially, Americans must now decide who to believe. The story raises several questions that Americans need to ask:
• If the story is true and the entire national media was reporting it accurately in the first place, then why is the Transportation Secretary, Norman Mineta, now lying about it?
• On the other hand, if the story is not true, where did it originate and how did it get such widespread circulation in the “mainstream” press in America?
• Did a federal official leak the false story or was it cooked up by someone in the media or by an anti-Muslim hate group such as the ADL, which is known to plant false stories in the media?
• Finally, if this widely-believed and widely-reported story is not true, as The New York Times now reports, how many other such false stories about 9-11 and other major events are now in circulation?

This is getting extremely anoying.
Just because I cant prove I'm right doesnt mean I'm wrong, nor does it mean you are right. You've claimed you are right and I'm open to persuasion, yet instead of trying to give weight to your views you continue to be rude and patronising instead. I ask you one last time, provide some evidence of the facts you claim to have or **** off.
