Ben......I dont know how I missed this! Oh boy some top kit going on that little honey!

The only thing I would question is the choice of alternative triple clamp? I think the standard one is a piece of art myself. Jeez what would it feel like to own that bike when finished?

My salivating has never known such limits! :D

I got the impression that was done because the Ohlins forks were a different diameter to stock. He mentioned needing to do new front wheel spacers and maybe get a longer spindle, so that would tie in.

Just a pity that he could not have chosen one that echo'd the lovely design of the standard item though tbh.

I think they've overdone the carbon, though they did say they were gong to paint it, so it'll probably turn out alright.

edit: in case I gave the wrong impression, I still very much want it, carbon and all.

Carsick, I am also not a great lover of carbon fibre bits. I do have a hugger on the 749 but that was more for a "subtle" answer. I would never entertain all the gubbins that are available in said material. With many though it does appear to be a "must have" but it doesn't do a great deal at all for me. :?

Blasphamy !!! How can you EVER have too much carbon on a bike ?? Now go and stand on the naughty step

Heh, I said I didn't like gold bits in another thread.
Like I said, I'm a bit anti-bling. I love the extremely functional bits of machinery and that swingarm makes me drool, but given the resources, I would have the gold bits stripped and recoated.

I have to say I've been given first refusal on the bike (all hinges on Bank job going okay though) :P

PH, saw the link on another forum I go to and immediately thought 'Aha I know a man that'll like that'.

I have even looked at the 'build up' thread. still recovering from the one showing the collection of parts :? :P

It's indeed going to be one sweet bike 8) .

Just vulgar eh? :) There's single parts on that worth more than my entire bike

On the plus side, I have that exact same master cylinder. Only 114,000 other components to replace then.

I don't like expanses of carbon much either... But paint it... maybe ducati yellow... And mask sections off for contrast and logos, so that the carbon fibre peerks through. In fact, give it a Ducati stripe- 1 fat 2 thin- the whole length in that way...
