Mental! .............thats all I can say....

Paws was just laughing at me the other day cos Im too scared to take my bike into my back yard through a narrow gate....lol

I park in the car port at the front of our house. The problem is though is that it is on a slight slope, so I park it uphill. Only downside to that is that I have to do a couple of forward and back manouevers to get it into the right place where I can chain it to the carport's frame. Used to do it by man handling it. Almost dropped the bike acouple times as the carports floor is bricks and sometimes get slippy!! I now do it whilst on the bike. Gives me chance to practice Clutch control LOL

Ooh cigars! Wht type did you get!? I do partake in the odd stogie now and again. But usually try to get the larger ones for special occasions.
Havana brand, not sure what style etc.. But a good smoke.

And as Bill Clinton siad, I didn't inhale!

I'm sorry to say Hovis, that you have not included enough in your picture for us to conclude if your bike was parked illegally or not... there could well have been a sign that detailed when the restrictions did not apply.

Double yellow lines mean no waiting at any time, unless there are signs that specifically indicate seasonal restrictions.

So I therefore conclude that you bike could well have been parked legally Infact, Eviltwin's bike is more illegally parked than yours.

;)

Double yellow lines allow 5 minutes grace, as thats the time its meant to take to write out a ticket. If you leave before that time then they have to cancel the ticket, double reds are 'expect a van along shortly to lift it away and fine you'.

Also the UK is the only country to my knowledge that it is illegal to park anything on the pavement, they just tend to be ignored unless you are causing a obstruction.

Okay, the photo that wins the competition. Here is my bike at a border that has been closed since Serbia did all that internal fighting.

It's between Hungary and Serbia, I took this photo thinking it was an abandoned entry into Romania. I took it just before the border guards got out with bfgs enquiring if I was a spy. At least they waited until I'd finished answering the call of nature before asking loads of questions.
