Hi

I have a std scotoiler fitted which I am really pleased with , however would like to increase the range , the touring kit I believe can't be fitted under the shoval mudguard on a k5, therefore looking at fitting a lube tube to extend capacity , they cost 20 quid & extend range to about 2k miles which would be good .
Any one fitted one to a pointy , do they fit ok under rear seat / recommended?

Cheers Steve

If you do decide to get a lube tube Steve, I've got one that I only fitted for a few weeks. Worth a Tenner?

A quick question why are you selling it after only a couple of weeks ?

Don't know anyone who has used a lube tube thats why I ask

We just couldn't get on with the scottoiler, Steve, couldn't get it to flow the way we wanted. We've just gone back to lubing the chain after every run.

fair enough , can you bring lubetube & its bits to the Wales run & I'll buy it from you , a tenner seems fair

You're right in thinking you can't fit the touring kit, it broke both mine and The Mass' number plate hangers. :)

The lube tube is good, but I find it more prone to getting air bubbles in between it and the main scottoiler than the touring kit did. It still seems to feed enough oil through though and it's worth having if you do the miles. HTH
