Would love to. Just depends on free weekends we have. On the basis that I'm trying to find a couple of g for a second bike at the mo, another ton wouldn't do any harm! Plus the seller could even ride it for the weekend, if Sarah wants to go pillion on the zed again...

I'd be up for another one. :)

I'd probably be able to make it down to Devon. I'll just have to plan a route with a few interesting A & B roads along the way (too much boring motorway).

We are off to Bideford in September with some mates. 32 of us. The chalets costs £203 for Fri,Sat,Sun nights. That's £25.50 pp for the 3 nights. This is our 4th visit in 2 years. Last year we went in October (it's cheaper then) and had brilliant weather as you might see in this pic.

One of our group bought down a gas fired barbi in the back of a van.

We had a plot of grass between the 4 chalets, so we moved all the tables and chairs outside, went shopping at Morrisons and had a fantastic evening all for a fiver a head.

Then on the Sunday, as a few people had gone home we put the tables banquet style in one of the chalets and cooked the leftover food. Made for a great group weekend.

Well, I'd like the support of a local, so we could do 21st / 22nd September.

There is only one bunkhouse.

The bunkhouse has a kitchen, the village has a pub, the nearest town with takeaways is 6.5 miles away.

Ok, due to the limit on numbers I'm going to keep the accomodation side of things limited to S&WS, by invitation only before opening it up to others if there are untaken spaces.

I've got to check with the owner that they're happy to have bikers, after which I'll pay the deposit to secure the booking.

I'm sure I'll get accused of being cliquey :grouphug:, but if people don't like it they can always arrange their own weekends, and pay upfront to secure bookings.

I know.

I'm up for it though. A bunkhouse means I don't have to carry a tent and all the associated paraphanalia. I'd just break up all the motorway miles with a few interesting A roads.

The last one was well worth 215 miles with loads of gear, so I think this one should be worth the extra miles with less gear.:smt080

Just wondering, as a lot of you have got quite a way to come (and I don't ;) ), I can sort some food out for you all when you arrive on the Friday?

Was thinking basic stuff, maybe, a spag bol, chilli and a curry?? Can do some veggie stuff too

I can make it at home, and ask her indoors if she would drop it off in the car?

If not, no worries, can alwayd get take-aways or pizza's instead..?

I could sort out beer too, take orders and drop it off at the bunkhouse?

I don't know, the things you offer after a few beers :D
