I just noticed this today when I was moving the bike back out of a space. Dont know if it is normal or not?
When I forcefully turn the throttle in the close direction the normal idle speed decrease by a few hundred rpm.

Yup, sounds like it's not returning fully closed.

Morning all.
Providing that the engine is idling at the correct speed, & that you have the correct amount of play on the cables, it's nothing to worry about.
Any machine with twin cables will do this, although it's not a good idea as it will eventually distort the throttle linkage.
Cheers.

The original Honda CB750 did this by design; possibly others too.
