I think it's mainly the washers on the sv and you would be able to see them after removing the carbs. Don't know this for certain tho.

Your bike has a CDI in it as opposed to an ECU

Foam under tank is only memorise :) In the next week I will put my curvy in yamaha service, tooday they said " we will made it " :)

Restricted bikes will still hit the rev limiter, certainly in gears 1-3 at least, it'll just start losing power above 8k rpm.
