Been using Iris for years but I do get them at cost, never had a issue nor have most of the club racers that use them either.

No 520's dont snap especially with 70hp going through them.

Yes as I said if you are going to use a Heavy Duty standard chain on the road look after it.

I don't know about the standard ones, but their O and X ring ones are mince.
Case of false economy for road use, you pay 1/3rd less and get less than half of mileage. I got over 30k out of a tsubaki sigma O ring chain.

Standard chains aren't too bad for maintenance, can you still get that grease that you boil in a pot?

is that the white stuff on the chains when new? i want some of that as well lasts for ages !

Similar, I think the white stuff is just white grease with a bit of sticky in it. You could try mix some chainsaw oil with white grease.

Castrol racing lube is nearly as good, scottoiler is better.

my last renthal set told you to, then use propper chain lube not spray can crap

meh TBH i would have cleaned it off anyway, how would the go faster gold be seen? :P
