As well as the above, the off beat crank phasing gives the impression it's going to cut out at idle so anyone who's ever owned a rubbish bike blips automatically to keep it going.

I have a HD Sportster (my first HD bought last month)but I'm not familiar with the blip thing being exclusive to HDs. I do hear it a lot in the city when couriers try to scare pedestrians when they think the lights might change and on track days for some unknown reason, why rag the bollks off a 2010 R1 in neutral for 15 minutes???

I might have gone in for a bit of HD bashing two months ago but now I've been indoctrinated to the Live Long Ride Hard way, I can tell you man that you need to chill, you're more stressed than a power ranger's pocket rocket's engine at 25000 revs ;):D

I think you'd like the 48 in that case! Single seater, rectro look and cheap for a HD!

I've got a 2009 XL1200 Low with custom paint (purple and silver), lots of chrome. I've added a nice thick touring seat with sissy bar and some loud slash cut custom chrome pipes. :D

I won't ever own a harley, all that money for an old push rod engine...na, I did a few years back look at forward control bikes as it looked like I may not get enough bend in the knee to ride anything else and perhaps one day I'll be forced down that path, but if I must, really must, then it'll be something along these lines

Victory hammer yes please again if the cash was there. Mark you should be a bike writer with the amount of knowledge on the subject you have. I would buy a bike if it had a rictus recommendation.
