With the user I think it is I'm not sure a thread will help. The same user has done it before, and disappears off the forum for weeks at a time. Id PM Fizz and ask if he can help you by emailing the users listed email address, it may be a different address to the one you have.

EDIT: I get what you mean now, he hasnt posted since 4th Oct which was to the OP so assuming he hasnt been online in the mean time he simply may not have checked his PM's and he's defo not a frequent enough user to see a call out feed posted on IB. Point understood.

As always I will do what I can to assist, but I cant really do a whole lot more than -Ralph- has suggested...

If the OP wants to furnish me with the details then I'll look into it, but if you're expecting me to magic up a solution or get your money refunded thats not something I can do. ( I have been expected to do that in the past )

Remember it is a case of buyer / seller beware I would have thought using paypal would offer some protection except if you "Send the money as a gift" then its your lookout...

I would prefer not to have to deal with the fallout of Name & Shame, I would rather this was setttled amicably.

Lots of replies here since last visit,and one reply got the wrong end of the stick, almost implicating the wrong forum member!!!!

Thanks for the offer of help fizzwheel,I chuckled when i read that some folk have expected the return of their cash :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Its possible this thread has prompted some action, so Id rather see what happens in the next few days before I do or type anything Id later prefer I hadnt of done.

If anything this experience may highlight to others that maybe its always preferable where possible to go view an item, pay cash and take away there and then,or view past selling experiences on the forum with appropraite replies mentioning how items were recieved etc.

This is not the first time that member has not sent goods that have been paid for and I've warned other Orgers by PM to be careful when thinking about buying from him. :smt071

Unfortunately I hadn't seen Lee's request for the item

And I don't mean Binky, despite Ralph's good character reference, he still owes me a beer :)

What conclusions? Not hard to find a thread from a few weeks back with £20 as the price and a member who has not been active since that time.

On a re-read I get what you mean... But on first read I thought it was a defence of Binky rather than a 'look further back'.

I mentioned Binky because I searched Leebex's posts as you suggested, and the last thing it may appear he bought (don't know if he did or not) was a reg/rec from Binky. I didn't want people jumping to the conclusion that Binky was the culprit.
