i'd say that the forks have also taken a hit and are probably bent too.

Lot of Pi$h-he stayed on the bike-it sounds as if its been side to side not bike to ground so unless he hit the car head on the forks should be sound.

hitting the left handside of the vehicle with the right hand side of the bike.
the collision is on the front RH side of the bike. i wouldn't be entirely sure the forks are undamaged.

If the forks were bent, wouldn't they pick it up on the visual inspection?

it was more of a side to side, I scuffed her rear panel (behind the door) and the bumper.

Does sound like a cheap fix. To check for fork alighnment take them out and roll them on a bench.

It is fairly cheap to get them straightened and checked professionally too.

900 quid.

Just off the phone with the valuation company, to get it back on the road should only need brake lever and pedal, right front indicator and and bolts required. Front fairing is cracked. Headlamp is possibly cracked. What are the requirements for road worthiness with regards to cracked fairing?
