I've got a pair of Spada Podium trousers, mostly because they were a 'Best Buy' in Ride magazine, and I can't speak highly enough of them. Not only are they Scotland-in-winter waterproof but they are toasty warm. I haven't even put in the winter liner yet...
Should set you back £75 or so. |
I would recommend you stay away from Dainese, just got a Jacket & Leggings last Thursday... one day out on the bike and the zip that joins the Jacket to the Leggings split open and jammed. Dealer wont replace it, insists on sending it to Italy to have it checked out. Meanwhile i'm without riding gear for at least two weeks :(
Not sure if its Dainese policy, or just the dealer being a right old PITA Either way, not having premises in the UK and not allowing dealers to make warranty decisions will slow things down no matter what. Pete |
Pete, go back to your dealer and tell them that the contract of purchase is between you and the dealer. The suit is not fit for purpose and as such you require your money back.

Thanks for the advice Ginger, i've already done so, they dont give a t*ss
Collecting them tomorrow, if the zip splits again i'll contact the credit card company and do a chargeback. (Anyone in NI thinking of purchasing clothing, stay away from a certain Honda dealership in Belfast) Pete |
Just like to say, after an email to Dainese in Italy, they contacted the dealer and made sure all my problems were sorted out.
Not great publicity for the dealer, however the manufacturer couldn't have been more helpful. Got them back now all working good as new (soz.. not meaning to hijack the thread) Pete |
