Read that from a YC post I believe 'aftermarket ones like hagon are as poor as standard, best getting something off another bike' IIRC

Well, you've asked for no mods... and it's still better than the standard one.

After all, cutting the battery box, tank hinge is easy and well worth it. The biggest barsteward is to get the suzuki bolts out. I'd say go for it, you'll be happy with the results, even if you spend 2 days at it.

Yep getting the bolts out is a royal bastewart , we had to remove the rear subframe from the bike to get decent leverage.. using the two spanner method and huskys 16 stone to free them. They where really tight.

Hes never had one, so how would he know????
Not being funny, but unless someone has used one to actually comment, it should be ignored. Experience of something is much better IMO. Reading someones comment that is based on reading something ain't right. Its plug and play. Yes its £250 notes, but if you have the money then its not a problem, fully rebuildable too. Its manufactured as a direct replacement.

I'm pertty certain until he put mine in, he'd not seen one.

I personally haven't had any disappointment in the Hagon system throughout on my yellow SV, it works in perfect harmony in comparison to the Ohlins and stock shock on the other. The Hagon system is so smooth. If it was sh!ite I'd say so.

BUT, I forgot...this woman doesn't know anything about motorcycles:evil:

But seriously...

Get a dremel and work out what needs cutting, just make sure you can get away with just cutting the battery box and not the stuff inside it

lol nice..

More Hagon support, Ive used them on a variety of machines, always an improvement on stock. Hagon took over from Girling ( once a de-rigeur racy upgrade, especially for crap 1970s stock Jap shocks), and have learned a lot since then.
Great service from hagon too, shock rebuilt and returned in less than a week.
