Its the cabdurys cricket pavillion in bournville.

"Also known as the Cadbury Cricket Pavillion and the Coronation Cricket Pavillion (it was given in commemoration of the coronation of King Edward VII), this impressive building was a gift to the Bournville Cricket Club (from whom, I don't know) and was opened in June 1902."

The company I have just got in with do 100% heritage work, unless you count prince harrys new house that they have been asked to build;)

I REALLY want that on my CV!

I knew i recongised that building, that whole estate was originally supposed to be some kinda eutopia designed by the family, i have worked on private houses on that estate and you still have to get permission to do certain stuff.

Anyway, what needs doing to it, it looks fine from your picture

It was built of chocolate and now it's gone flaky.

yup, the area was taken over by the cadbury family and made into their own ideal haven..

Its grade 1 listed so EVERYTHING needs permission to be done on it.

Theres some remedial restoration to the exterior...(god I'm sounding so "work" now:rolleyes:) but the inside is having some pretty major works done.

Ill know more next week (funnily enough on the same day I test ride the new bike) :)

I do a lot of surveys on the Bourneville Village Estate, there's a covenant on every house within the boundaries which prohibits the modification of the exterior design and look. We have to be very careful how we install the cavity wall insulation so you can't tell where we've drilled the holes etc. Residents can't keep caravans on driveways or out up satellite dishes and stuff like that.
