Re: AE 7.5 (or 7 1/2)

I just got a positive response back from the site...

"no problem we can section you a peace off at the top end of Elwyns when you get your deff numbers let us know asap so that you don’t miss out"

In order to secure camping I want to give the site a definite headcount by Noon this Friday 6th July. Please make yourself known if you want to secure your place ASAP.

Once I have confirmed the numbers to the campsite I will make no further arrangements. Any late joiners will need to contact the site directly, ask if it is possible to join the bike group using the overflow field.

Cost will be £5.50 per person per night (i.e. not per tent). In addition to the usual facilties the site has a Shop, a Clubhouse Bar and a Cafe on site.

If Eviltwin and I do camp we'll bring the bike and car so we could bring some stuff up for people if necessary (car would be going from Cardiff).

Awesome, don't suppose you've got a portable stereo you could bring?
ANYTHING to drown out Stretchie's impromptu renditions of "I wanna sex you up".

To get around the power problem, pop along to a big Tesco, or go on-line and find yourself an inverter I just bought one for £20, does up to 150 watts which is enough to run a lap-top & speakers. I use it for camera battery charging, keeping the kids cd players charged and the lap-top for pics whilst away camping. It just plugs into a cig. socket and has a normal 3 pin socket on the other end. Just google it and take your pick.
