Bike dead
Rode home fine. Stopped engine - fine. Went to restart nothing - no lights, no sounds, no nothing.
Battery is fine, fuses fine. any ideas? I have checked all the connectors I can see - fine, not visible signs of chafing on wires. |
Re: Bike dead
Battery connections/Earth strap or ignition switch fault.Try putting the steering lock on,putting the switch in park and see if the parking light stays on when you take the key out.If nothing then check those battery connections again.

Re: Bike dead
Not the kill switch, not the battery connections, not the main fuse, not he ignition fuse.
I think I have a duff ignition keyswitch! Bugger. Time to call the recovery vehicle! |
Re: Bike dead
Are you sure you have checked all the fuses?.
There is also a connector under the left hand seat panel that if loose will do this..although it shouldnt come loose unless you have taken a panel off and caught it. |
Re: Bike dead
How about the starter relay?

Re: Bike dead
It's not that either.
(Beginning to feel like the start of Hong Kong Fooey... ...is it the mild mannered janitor?) |
