Scotland - where to go?
 

hello all!

firstly, sorry about the rugby on saturday, i'm half welsh and at cardiff uni, but i still would have liked to have seen scotland win, i dont know why, i think its the colour and the accent. Cardiff was buzzing that day, the best was a bloke and his bagpipes playing outside the prince of wales pub, classic! (incase you didnt know, it's a huge pub with glass pannels and lots of red shirts piled in it)

right so the main reason i'm here...

i went to scotland for a holiday last summer, was up in strath tay near aberfeldy. Was a lovely place, few rounds of golf, white water rafting, fishing, checking out dewers distillery...all in all it was great! and lots of bikes around there too

I fancy heading up scotland again sometime in the summer, only this time on the bike

Wheres really good to go for a ride up there?

Or alternatively - just ride. It's all good away from the motorways & cities.

Big roundabout between Alexandria and Balloch OK? (Got some weird piece of 'art' on it, can't miss it.) Everything north of that and everything west of that. Everything.

A little more helpfully, try Good Biking Roads In Scotland and Post Your Best Roads both threads of this parish.

For me it's the A890 between Kyle of Lochalsh and Achnasheen. Bloody hell.

We did Skye! Fab. Great roads to get there. Anything bove Glasgow is nice.
