SV650S, Parked up for 4 years
 

Hi people

Parked my 2001 SV650S up in 2005 and it's not been used since. Time has now come to sell it as I've probably no intention of riding it again and fancy getting a MotoX bike.

Been out to it today to give it a clean and make a list of jobs to do, bikes only done 5500 miles.

My problem is that if you put it in gear and with the clutch pulled in I can only just move the bike, no problem when it's in neutral so it's not a brake binding problem. So I'm guessin the clutch must be dragging abit or the plates have stuck together?

Anyone got any help or suggestions of what to do next? Fairly compotent with spanners but if it's looking like a big job might just ebay it.

Wouldn't worry about it - try it with a hot engine and I bet you'd be fine; it's cold oil and the clutch - no need to do anything.
