How good is this weather?

I'm loving every minute of it. I can't believe it's November & we are in double figures. Long may it continue as it's making an old man very happy :cheers:

But looking at the state of your bike confirms I've done the right thing putting my Daytona away for the winter.

It washes off, just me being bone idol. The rest of the bike is clean, just couldn't be bothered to wash the wheels last weekend. :)

OK, thought the roads weren't dirty enough yet to do that too quickly. Still I'll stick to the XT600 in the winter, last winter after this 2 hour ride I spent about 4 hours cleaning!

This is what it should look like http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=172378

Whereas the XT looks like this even in summer

It's nice to have clear skys, but as the damp roads have cars chucking dirty water on my visor so the sun shine.makes it opake, I'd rather it rain.
Plus twice ive had that sphincter clenching moment when you going round the roundabouts and the grip disappears .

Do you have a faired SV? If you shove a wet cloth in between your clocks and your screen, it won't get blown out (not on a pointy anyway), and it's easy to reach when you need a wipe of your visor.

Half the fun is washing her down :) I will be tending to her tomorrow no doubt. She's not too dirty to be honest because the weather is so good. I have had a few butt clenching moments over the years, but it is only to be expected in this country.

I'd like to know where all this nice weather you speak of is.

All last week it was dank and dark and miserable up here. Sunday was supposed to be warm and sunny, and we got a fog bank all day, so thick you could see 2 metres in front of you if you were lucky, and grand old poofwaggon was being a guide for sports cars up on the hills!!

yesterday was ok, and today its a little murky. M62 fog bound every night......Halifax circle is worse than the Burmuda one!
