Seat panel bolt - Pointy
Other than a main dealer, where can I get a new bolt for the black plastic diamond covers under the seat? The head on mine is knackered. It's just an M6 bolt but it has a large shoulder with no threads.
Thanks |

Difficult to find an exact match, however I think I have some generic M6 allen head bolts knocking around and could send you one. I think the shouldered bit on the stock item is there to prevent you tightening the bolt up so tight as to crack the panel.
If you find some the same as the stock ones, let me know. |

Yeh I've got loads of M6 ones, just wanted to get the proper thing if possible. If not I'll probably just see how much suzuki want

Re: Seat panel bolt - Pointy
I've got a spare from the curvy you can have.
There's a good chance they're the same but worth double checking before I post it. Do you want to measure the shoulder/thread lengths and I'll do similar? |
Re: Seat panel bolt - Pointy
Would be good to find somewhere (online) that sells 'em.
As well as the 'top hat' style spacers that are used as inserts on the fairing mounting bolts. |
