Newbie

I'm a newbie to the forum but i've had the SV for two years now. Anyway, thought i'd get some pictures up as i've just had a re-spray in matt black.

After

AS you can see from the headlight bracket and the clocks this used to have a fairing. Anyone know if I can chop the bracket off and replace with the one from the unfaired model? Does the unfaired model bracket bolt on or is it welded?

Like quite a few others on here, I've converted mine from faired to naked.

Not too sure what you mean above, but i think you're asking about replacing the subframe bracket with the standard naked item? The faired one is bolted at the headstock lugs (two bolts) but i believe the naked clocks were bolted to the underside of the topyoke.

So for a proper faired to naked conversion you'd need...
Naked topyoke (rare-ish)
Naked clocks + bracket (golden hens teeth)
Some kind of headlight set up too. (ten a penny!)
