LED Flash rate relays...

After fitting my new LED tips, the rear LHS indicator seems to have packed up. I have a similar looking flash rate relay / resistor thingy to this:

Seems cheap enough, does anyone know if they would work / have similar on theirs?

they're just resistors, plug em in in parallel to your indicators and bobs your mother brother, although they seem a mite expensive for a couple of 5ohm resistors.

so could i get a 5 ohm resistor from maplin perhaps?

Does it need to be 12v?

The voltage doesn't matter for a resistor. However the current rating does. I got a set of 2 from eBay for around 6 quid and they've been doing the trick for over a year now.

Always use a relay

Resistors are just bodges.
