Weired Problem

Had to ride bike under the strand underpass this morning in central london and on the way back up the slope whilst giving it a bit of welly my bike coughed and spluttered and then became very slow and had lack of power. im wondering if this is a water issue as it chucked it down on the way home lastnight. this has happened to me last week after going down a hill. when i got back on the level it ran a bit spluttery?.

Any ideas?.Ive recently had oil issues and found that to be a little bit of ouil had found its way into the airbox and after a good clean it was fine.

Wouldn't the 50p fall off whilst riding though? especially if he's giving it welly?

Little bit of WD40 up the drain hole to clear the moisture for the moment. Can send you some silicon grease no problem when i get some baggies.

+ 1, then when you get home take the front plug cap off and ensure everything is nice a dry down there and smear some grease on it and whack it back in.

Have you got a Fender Extender, they can help?

Around the rubber ridged thing on the top of the cap so it makes a seal with the head
