Leathers rubbing on tank?

My leather trouser are starting to cause rub marks on my tank. I've seen the sticky plastic sheets that can be cut to size and stuck to the tank. Are there any other solutions?

I polished the marks out then put about five or six coats of good quality, hard wax on. So long as you remember to top it up now and again, it'll be reet!

Then again, YorkieChris would tell you to stop being ghey about it and slap some matt black stove enamel on!

Stomp-grip does look awfull mind you.

I used to have the 'titainium carbon fibre' on the BlueBlade, but needed to be replaced after a couple of years (just after this photo) as the top layer had started to peel slightly:

Though I'm fairly certain Motrax to do clear version that, when put on with care, is virtually unnoticable once on.

I've found Stompgrips to be pretty useful, especially 2 up, but the side effect is that they rub your leathers away, which isn't too helpful.
