Rideout Routes in Dorset, pick your favourtie and we will get one arrnaged?
 
Choose which ride you prefer and we will try and get a date sorted?

Excuse the massive links as I don’t know any other way of doing it.

A) Poole- Blandford-Wareham-Poole

Distance= 60 miles
Time= 1hr 40mins
Breaks= None

Distance= 61 Miles
Time=1hr 45mins
Breaks = None

Distance= 83.5 Miles
Time=2hr 35mins
Breaks= Portland Hill/Bill
Ride Length Including Stops = 3 Hours Max

D) Three Cross Motorcycles Garage – Wimborne – Blandford – Dorchester - Portland - Poole

Distance= 95.7 Miles
Time= 2hrs 55 Mins
Breaks= Portland Hill/Bill (garage in Dorchester/Weymouth if needed)
Ride Length Including Stops = 3hrs 30 mins

E) Poole – Blandford – Portland – Bridport – Wareham – Poole

Distance= 107 miles
Time= 3hrs 8mins
Breaks= Garages: Dorchester, Weymouth, Bridport plus we will stop on Portland Hill.

C for me ish......when you say dorch - portland. Not down dual carriageway right? Much more fun going thro osmington/weymouth- portland.

P.s i cant open the map at work :-(

The only thing to mention really is the straigh across the water to Portland from Weymouth gets pretty windy sometimes with crosswinds. Its worth it though nice views up on Portland Bill.

I am happy to explore some of the roads in west dorset but there are also....zig zag hill for example...from Fordingbridge to Cranborne to sixpenny Handley and up towards shaftesbury, there is a nice little tea and coffee place on the B3081 near compton abbas. :D

You come in to Dorchester on the A354 then go back to poole the way you are on about, you could do that both ways but you would be doubling back on yourself a bit.

Use to live on portland (I am NOT a portlander i might add !!!) use to love coming home and goin to work. The views are awesome!
