every 1 i spokein to say the 01 02 models r chewing cranks an so was lookin 4 a diffrent engin altogether

turn it the other way , K3+ bikes are the ones that aparently have issues with the crank

you can put a K3+ engine in a curvey frame if you want, you can either go the whole hog and put the fuel injection in, you would need loom, ecu, clocks, throttle bodies, airbox, fueltank, or you can put a K3+ engine in and just replace the flywheel from the curvey and keep the carbs
