Re: how to hold the front end while removing forks
Saw some one on here use a ladder( over the bike ) and a heavy duty ratchet strap through the frame under the tank.
Seemed to work alright. |
Re: how to hold the front end while removing forks
mine stood on house bricks and a piece of wood but a rope round the head stock up to a garage beam might help to keep it stable.

Re: how to hold the front end while removing forks
are they ridable?
come up here and sling it from my engine lift. Or I can shove it in the back of the car a lend it to you |
Re: how to hold the front end while removing forks
Jack under the sump with a rag on it, lean it over.
3 points of contact; sidestand, jack, back wheel. Stable enough, but crack all the bolts loose before you jack it up. |
