Race Slip-On 33bhp License?

Got the chance to buy a race slip on, a CCC can.

How will this affect my bike?

Still run ok, or would I have to put a new filter in and change the jetting, which will defiently make it above 33 bhp?

With only the race can on, will I still be 33bhp legal?

Just asking before I buy, in case it makes my bike run poorly or it breaks my 33bhp limit?

David.

A slip-on can will not add any performance to your bike, but it will make it sound a LOT better :-D
Yes it's perfectly legal for you (if the baffle's in, although most people run them without ), just make sure you tell your insurance company when you've fitted it
HTH

Check with your ins before buying it just to ensure it ain't going to put your premium up.

It shouldn't...but better to have a quick 2 minute phone call to save hassle later on!

Had a slip-on on the last bike, was a road legal can with baffles removed.

Got a new bike, flogged the can as I wanted a louder/black can to go with the black frame.

The seller(a member on here), says with a filter and the slip on gained 10bhp, which I feel is too much.

I know the bike will run fine with a slip-on, but will a race slip-on be any different with no baffles?
Its a race can which isn't for road use??

Are you still on an ECU restricted SV?

If so should make no diff as the ignition is retarded to make it 33bhp

Aye a ECU restriction.

Thats kind of what I was hoping.
You sure? :)
What about how it will effect the running of the engine?

No way will a slip on and filter add 10BHP! I don't even think a full system would. My scorpion can is a race slip-on. Judging by the speeds I can get, I really doubt it's over 33bhp

My can is 'Race Use Only' but autosol means it now has no markings!.

I can't see 10bhp from a filter and a slip-on...race or otherwise :-s
