Info: Dimensions of Curvy Restriction Washers
 

If you are trying to source 33BHP (25KW) restriction washers or make them yourself here is the relevant information you will need.

These measurements apply only to the washers for the curvy SV650, they are designed to work with carbs NOT fuel injection.

External Dimensions:

• 1mm thick
• 44 mm in diameter (44.23mm)

The aperture is:

• 18mm (18.41mm)
• Circular
• Exactly in the middle

Fitting guidance

The washers fit under the carbs, i.e. between the bottom of the carbs and the engine.

You will need two, one for each carb.

Proof of Restriction

If your insurance company requires you to provide proof that your bike is restricted most will accept a Dyno printout showing the following details:

• Date
• Bike VIN/Reg
• A maximum power output of less than 33BHP (25KW)

However, it is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider what proof is acceptable to them prior to restricting your engine and arranging insurance.

will these washers work on a 2000 sv650s?

Yes any 99-02 model. If it has carbs it will work.

EFI model won't be much different but a throttle stop is needed too.
You could just fit them straight in of course, but it would run like an absolute dog as it would be monster rich.
