idle, bike that is.

washed my S.V. this morning all ready for a fun ride in the sunshine. bike didn't feel right, all popping and phlut phlut. crawled home in a sorry state.
now i know they're not the best for water ingress in the electrics.
but where do I start looking first.
I'm beginning to feel its the showroom.

Spray some WD40 in the drainage hole for the front plug. This should get rid of water in there.

I have no idea on a pointy, on a curvy its on the riders right, about half way down the cylinder.

About the same place on a Pointy as well . I had a similar problem a while back with the bike running like a sack of poo . I ended up buying 2 new plugs and it was fine after that . I think the core on the front plug had degraded to the point of uselessness , I suspect they were the OEM plugs as well and had done around 17k so had been worked hard . Manual suggests a change at 7k , banged 2 new ones in and instantly the bike was spot on .
