Has anyone used these indicators?

Blatant rip-offs of the Motrax ones, but look decent enough:

Exactly what I was thinking.

Have mini indicators on the back at the mow, and some old flat flush-mount ones on the front.

Due to the wattage of the bulbs, it means resistors were fitted in place to bring the flash-rate down, but it doesn't seem to have worked, and the bulbs have a tendancy to blow!

So looking for some brighter LED ones, and sticking a proper relay in there too.

Agreed ............. if your prepared to wait (delievery from China takes forever) - could be worth a punt ....

On the otherhand ... if you get one that breaks ...... or doesn't work ....... and you fail to find them again ........ it could be an expensive mistake to go cheap when you have to replace all 4 again (if you want matching) !!!

They look like mine, I have the long stalk version.

Got mine from M&P for 19.99. So this is a v good price. http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/5.../On-Two-Wheels

It said twowheels (make) on the M&P website but when i got them it said Tech 7.

Mine are nice looking and bright.

Here's the thread which has a picture of the same ones (or similar ones) fitted to a bike so you can see what they look like.

Had my LED indicators fitted today. Used 6 10watt 10ohm resistors, 4 at the front and 2 at the back, it's a bit of a dark art those resistors as my friend who fitted them thought 4 would be enough (thanks to a tip from someone on here).

The resistors are £0.46 each in Maplins. No need for a relay.

have they got resisters built in? or do you have to sort that out for yourself?

!just read the above post!

They are separate if you go to the M&P website choose your indicators they also have LED resistors on there. You have to make sure tho that your resistors are for led indicators if you get them from a bike shop. REsistors for normal mini inidicators won't work.

Re: Has anyone used these indicators?

if they are the 120 degree off set pins on the bulbs you get away with forcing 180 degree opposite pin bulbs in of a higher resistance as a cheaper option again, i've done this with my motrax indicators as apparently the bulbs are harder to get hold of.
