Scottoiler fitting.

I recently got a Scottoiler vSystem from www.scottoiler.com for my SV650S k9. Now i the only problem i have fitting the thing is, trying to find the vacuam connection on the engine, if anyone could help me by telling me where it is i would be most grateful

thanks nick

Re: Scottoiler

quite easy to locate (well once you know where to look!) - on the throttle bodies there are a couple of 'spigots' with rubber caps. from memory 2 on the rear and 1 on the front.
i took mine from one of the ones on the rear so that i couls still use the other when balancing throttle bodies. Look through the left or right hand side of frame for a small rubber cap, its hard to explain but you should find it ok.

by the way if you not already decided where to put the resevoir i put mine under the pillion seat attached to the subframe - it's ok except a little bit of a pian to get to when filling up. depending how many mile you do you might decide to put elsewhere.....

If I can remember rightly when i helped fit my brothers, the vacuum connections are inside the 'V' if you get my meaning, capped by little rubber nipples (for want of a better word lol)

Look in the centre of the picture and you will see them. HTH :)
