Re: How do you getthe last piston out?

Pump them against something so they are a mm from popping, remove the something, remove the pistons.

This may be tricky if you have already removed one. ;)

Answer: With more brute force
via Standing on the caliper and 2 hands on the pliers.
Was using 3 dust seals round the piston to protect it as I'm replacing them anyway - only damaged the last couple of mm of the piston - should be reet :smt102

Yeah I thought I did that - obviously not pumped them out enough. especially the first ones to pump out as I thought they would be easy

that's what I was doing - the green dishwashing scruber clothes without sponge was quite goodlooks good - but for the number of times I would use it  and by they time you realise you want it - it's too late.
But thanks anyway :D

I think it was xXBadgerXx posted a good tip the other day. Put a few cable ties tight around the protruding piston, then you can grip them with mole grips / stilsons without damaging them. Then twist and ease out...

Yeah I saw that & tried it. the ziptie came off too easily for me but it gave me the idea of using the seals.

Pop the other piston/s back in & lock them there.
Reattach line & use lever to pop sticky one out.
