Re: Carb Cleaning wen't wrong :/
try looking in the for sale section, or advertising in the wanted section. As for ideas, I wouldn't listen to me :).

Re: Carb Cleaning wen't wrong :/
They all do that sir, dont worry about it, mine have been stuck for years and it runs fine, unless yours doesnt. I really wouldnt worry about it.

Re: Carb Cleaning wen't wrong :/
Or you can get them drilled out and a new set put in?
One of mine is seized. It hunts a bit at idle. I'd like it to be purringly smooth (especially for the cold starts due in a couple of months...). I will be visiting Stewart and Bill at some point to get it sorted (probably around service time- Septemberish). |
Re: Carb Cleaning wen't wrong :/
mine dn't run right tho so i don't have a choice lol they still run rough so balancing was next option

Re: Carb Cleaning wen't wrong :/
balance is far more likely to be issue than mixture. fact that the screws are seized means the mix can't change that much unless something else is wrong.

Got a set for sale in really good condition have a look in for sale.

Re: Carb Cleaning wen't wrong :/
I can only confirm Yorkies comments, more likely the balancing than anything. My mixture hasnt been changed since about 2002, the carbs however, have been balanced about once a year
