Default Carb Cleaning went wrong :/

took carbs off yesterday to clean and discovered the mixture screw on front carb to be seized and now rounded nyone got any ideas or a set of carbs for sale? thanks

try looking in the for sale section, or advertising in the wanted section. As for ideas, I wouldn't listen to me .

They all do that sir, dont worry about it, mine have been stuck for years and it runs fine, unless yours doesnt. I really wouldnt worry about it.

Or you can get them drilled out and a new set put in?

One of mine is seized. It hunts a bit at idle. I'd like it to be purringly smooth (especially for the cold starts due in a couple of months...). I will be visiting Stewart and Bill at some point to get it sorted (probably around service time- Septemberish).

mine dn't run right tho so i don't have a choice lol they still run rough so balancing was next option

balance is far more likely to be issue than mixture. fact that the screws are seized means the mix can't change that much unless something else is wrong.

I can only confirm Yorkies comments, more likely the balancing than anything. My mixture hasnt been changed since about 2002, the carbs however, have been balanced about once a year
